The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), under Govt. of India, has released the SSC CGL Examination 2021 notification, inviting online applications from eligible and interested Indian nationals for filling numerous Group B and Group C vacancies comprising Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Assistant, Inspector of Income Tax, Inspector (CGST and Central Excise), Inspector (Preventive Officer), Inspector (Examiner), Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub Inspector (CBI), Inspector (DoP/CBN), Assistant/Superintendent, Research Assistant, Divisional Accountant, Junior Statistical Officer, Statistical Investigator, Auditor, Accountant, Accountant/Junior Accountant, Senior Secretariat Assistant/UDC, and Tax Assistant through SSC CGL Recruitment 2021 process to be posted in the various departments and ministries across India on a fulltime basis.

SSC CGL Age For SSC CGL Examination 2021

  • Group C (all posts): 18 to 27 years of age
  • Inspector of Income Tax (CBDT) Group C: 18 to 30 years of age
  • Group B (all posts0: 18 to 30 years of age
  • Assistant Section Officer (CSS) Group B: 20 to 30 years of age
  • ASO (Ministry of Railway/External Affairs/AFHQ) Group B: 20 to 30 years of age
  • Assistant (Other Ministries/ Departments/Organizations) Group B: 20 to 30 years of age
  • Sub Inspector (CBI) Group B: 20 to 30 years of age
  • JSO (M/o Statistics & Programme Implementation) Group B: 18 to 32 years of age

There is a relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC), 5 years (SC/ST) and 10 years (PWD) respectively as specified in the SSC CGL 2021 Notification

SSC CGL 2021 Fee For SSC CGL Examination 2021

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 100 (UR/Gen/OBC) as application fee for SSC CGL Examination 2021 under SSC CGL Recruitment 2021 through online mode as mentioned in the official the SSC CGL Examination 2021 notification. However, SC/ST/PWD, Ex-SM and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
