Ahead of the new year, Bollywood celebrities are giving fans major travel goals as several of them have already landed on exotic destinations to get their party started. The latest one to join them is actor Sunny Deol who is currently in Manali to ring in the new year celebration

The actor took to his Instagram handles and dropped multiple pictures from the hill station. In pictures, he is seen striking poses against the scenic backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Coming back to the caption of the post, he simply wrote, “A fresh whiff of mountain air to welcome 2022#Manali #NewYear #Nature #2022”

Recently, Sunny finished filming for the first schedule of his forthcoming film “Gadar 2″. The movie is the much-awaited sequel to Deol’s 2001 blockbuster “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha” with Ameesha Patel. Announced in October, the film is helmed by director Anil Sharma, who also has the original film under his credit.

Sunny Deol and the film team shot “Gadar 2” in Himachal Pradesh and wrapped its schedule within 25 days. Dropping a glimpse of his character Tara Singh from the film set, he had shared, “Only a fortunate few get to bring amazing characters back to life. Presenting Tara Singh 20 years later! Wrapped the first schedule of ‘Gadar 2’. Feeling blessed to relive the role again.”

Backed by Zee Studios, the film is slated to release in 2022.
