The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) under Govt. of Assam has invited online applications from eligible and interested Indian citizens, who are permanent residents of Assam, for filling Fifty (50) vacancies to the post of Assam Forest Service Forest Ranger in APSC through direct recruitment to be posted under the Environment & Forests Dept. in Assam, India on a fulltime basis. The online application process towards the same started on December 28, 2021 and ends on January 27, 2022 with January 30, 2022 as the last date for paying the application fee.

APSC Recruitment 2021: Age Criteria And Fees
Candidates interested in applying for Assam Forest Service Forest Ranger Jobs through APSC Forest Ranger Recruitment 2021 must have attained 21 years of age and not be more than 38 years as on January 1, 2021 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 41 years (OBC/MOBC) and 43 years (SC/ST-P and ST-H) respectively as per the Assam Govt. norms as specified in the APSC Notification 2021
Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 285.40 (Gen/EWS) and Rs. 185.40 (SC/ST/OBC/MOBC) respectively as application-cum-processing fee for APSC Forest Ranger Jobs under APSC Recruitment 2021 either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc.) mode or through Offline (cash mode) as stated in the APSC Forest Ranger Notification 2021. However, BPL candidates are required to pay only a processing fee of Rs. 30 as given in the APSC Notification 2021

APSC Recruitment 2021: Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates APSC Forest Ranger Jobs through APSC Recruitment 2021 will be done through a Written Examination (600 marks) and Viva Voce (75 marks) as notified in the APSC Notification 2021
Shortlisted candidates for Assam Forest Service Forest Ranger Jobs through APSC Forest Ranger Recruitment 2021 will be paid emolument on the scale Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 97,000 per month as stated in the APSC Forest Ranger Notification 2021
