Shehnaaz Gill reveals she had ‘lost her desire to live’ after Sidharth Shukla’s death in conversation with his guru maa Sister BK Shivani

Shehnaaz Gill, who took a long time to get back to normal life after close friend and rumoured boyfriend Sidharth Shukla’s untimely demise last year, recently opened up about not wanting to live anymore after his death.

In her recent meaningful talk session with Sidharth’s guru maa Sister BK Shivani, the actress opened up about a few things unknown about her. She openly shared about developing patience and positivity around herself in the past 2 years. During the same conversation, Shehnaaz also came out about how she dealt with Sidharth Shukla’s sudden and shocking demise.

While hinting about Sidharth’s death with Sister Shivani, Shehnaaz revealed that thoughts like ‘I don’t want to live anymore’ crossed her mind too. Sharing her experiences, she said tha many people go through a tough time after their loved ones death and give up on their desire to live. They wonder what would they do hereafter and somewhere she had similar thoughts too. Shehnaaz disclosed, “Kayi log sochte hain, nahi ab nahi mujhe rehna. Ab to main marr hi jau to accha hai, logon ki wording hai ye. Matlab meri bhi thi ki humein to ab nahi rehna chahiye, humein to aisa karna chahiye. Ab main kya karungi.”

She went on to talk about how Sidharth’s journey for that life was over but she has to live and complete her journey of this lifetime. Shehnaaz added that one has to continue living because death will only come to him/her when it’s time. She further mentioned how hurting oneself or going into depression after losing a person won’t help in the long term but only make one regret it later in life.
